I was chatting with several of my clients today and encouraging them to keep chasing after their dreams. Everyone has difficult days, and it can be disheartening when you have been working to achieve your goals, and it seems no one sees you or knows your name.
I believe, however, that persistence and consistency; doing a little every day to achieve your goals and dreams, is pivotal to success. It’s choosing to show up regularly and to last the distance that separates us from those who grow weary and give up and those who continue to run their race and reach the finish line to receive the prize. (Philippians 3:14)
Plus, one of the things that we can forget is that while we may wonder if what and who we are matters is the truth that heaven knows our name. And if heaven knows our name, we have won already and have all the hosts of heaven backing us up. No weapon formed against us will prosper, and all those who rise against us will fall. Plus, a great cloud of witnesses in heaven is cheering us on, and even when no one seems to know our name on earth, and we feel insignificant and forgotten, heaven is paying attention. (Hebrews 12:1;)
Not one move you make, a word you speak, or a dream you have is insignificant in God’s sight. God is for you, and the angels respond to the words of faith you speak. (Psalm 103:20) It’s their role to help make things happen on your behalf. (Hebrews 1:14)
Today I encourage you to keep dreaming, believing, and being diligent in achieving your goals. God loves to grant us the desires of our hearts, and if you continue to seek Him and His way of doing things, He will add ALL things to your life. (Psalm 37:4; Matthew 6:33)
Heaven knows your name, and they’re all cheering you on today, so “don’t grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you don’t give up.” (Hebrews 12:1-2; Galatians 6:9 NIV)
“So now, beloved ones, stand firm, stable, and enduring. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labour productive with fruit that endures.” (1 Corinthians 15:58 TPT)
“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up on wings like eagles, they shall run and not e weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)
Prayer: Lord, thank you that you care for me and that I can do all things through your strength. (Philippians 4:13). Thank you that I am not alone and that you help me to keep my eyes on the goals, renew my strength, and help me to keep going today because you and all of heaven know my name. In Jesus name Amen.
