We have one thing God asks us to do “Stay in love” That’s it. We are to walk in Love. Mtt 22:37
1 Corinthinas 13:7-8 tells us “Love bears up under anything and everything that comes..its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and it endures everything (without weakening). Love never fails – neve fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end…”
God wants us to walk in love because “love never fails”. He wants the best for us, the best is found in love.
Galatians 5:6 tells us that our faith works though love. Faith forgives – faith lets go of things, of offense, hurt.
Jesus teaches us that “what things you so desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. And when you stand praying, forgive if you have anything against anyone.” Mark 11:24-25
Our faith works by love, it’s like a faith activator. Our hearts become engaged, our faith is activated to start believing and to start reaching out with love in action; and God gets involved, because He is the ultimate in Love. He Is Love!
Jesus showed us this when he ministered to those who came to Him. He was always moved with compassion and love to meet their needs. He still is!
I want to live like that. To focus my life on Love, and the One who is Love.
There’s always going to be opportunities to forgive and to put love to work. But if we focus on Love and God the source of Love, if we pursue it, practice it, study it and grow in it then our lives won’t be just a big noise, they will be a beautiful symphony J
I pray that we will be surrounded by God’s Love, overcome by His presence and that our hearts will be moved by the things that move His heart.
