15 May - Jesus Is Enough For You

There are days when it’s good to remember Jesus is enough for us. He is enough to fix any issues we may be facing. He is enough to give us strength. He is enough to heal, forgive and help us in our time of need. He is enough when others’ may let us down, and He is enough for everything we will ever experience in life.

Jesus is enough and promises to be with us every day, to cleanse us from our imperfections, strengthen us in our weaknesses and fears, and replace our sorrow with His peace and joy. He fills in the gaps; when we mess up, He forgives and restores us; when we realise we are not enough, He tells us He is more than enough!

God says to us, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak, I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Today, don’t beat yourself up over expectations, get caught up in striving, or think you have to be and do everything alone.

Know that Jesus’ grace is enough for you and that His power is perfected in your weaknesses. He is your help, your light, and the one who makes a way where there seems there is no way. (Isaiah 43:15-16) You are complete in Him because He is perfect, with nothing missing or broken, and as you come to Him, you are made whole.

“For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.“ (Colossians 2:9-10)

Prayer: Lord, thank you that you are always with me and that I can count on you. Please help me remember that when I am feeling not enough, you are more than enough and that I am complete and made whole in you. In Jesus name Amen.
