18 Jan - Talk About Who And What You Love The Most

The happiest, most positive and focused people I know, are the ones who talk a lot about who and what they love the most. It's a natural phenomenon that we speak and share with others about what is special to us and what we love in our lives.

The bible says, "For out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks" (Luke 6:45). Therefore, if you want to check in on the condition of your heart and know what you care and love most in your life, (and where you may need to deal with any issues) then listen to how you are talking.

The benefit of talking and promoting what we love, instead of focusing and talking about the things we don't, is that we are far more likely to become the people we were made to be. Plus, it also draws like-minded people who share the same heart and beliefs into our world, revealing who and where our real connections lie.

God promises He will command a blessing on that sort of unity and heart to heart connection, especially when we seek those things that are pleasing to Him.

"Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!" (Psalm 133:1)

"A person's words can be life-giving water; words of true wisdom are as refreshing as a bubbling brook". (Proverbs 18:4)

Today I encourage you to talk about what and whom you love the most. Talk about Jesus and all that He is and has done. Talk about and to the ones you share your life with and how you appreciate them in your world. Talk about your passions and plans for the future.

Talk about what you love the most, for as you do, you'll start to see the best in yourself, in your situation and recognise Jesus' hand on your life. Plus others will be inspired to have their own dreams (because your dreams look so great), and be encouraged to focus on all that is good and true.

Prayer: Lord, please help me see who and what means the most to me. I want to be able to share and freely talk about all that I love in my life and to be able to see the best in every situation. In Jesus name Amen
