2 Dec -Prayer Works

Prayer is the legal right to ask God to intervene on our behalf supernaturally. “We can stand in God’s presence without fear, without a sense of inferiority, without a sense of guilt, because of all that Jesus has done for us. It is our legal right to come boldly before God to request heavenly intervention in this earth on our behalf.” (Charles Capps)

God doesn’t want you to tell Him the problem; He wants you to tell Him the solution. He already knows your problems and what you need before you even ask Him. (Matthew 6:7-8)

He wants you to learn to pray with authority by lining yourself up with what He has already spoken in His Word so that you can lose, by faith His ability into every situation and circumstance.

I've learnt the hard way that there is no point reinforcing the problem by repeatedly talking about it; instead, there is real power and breakthrough when we go to God’s Word and find out what He says about our situation so that we can then pray to put a demand upon what He has promised.

"A prayer accurately formed and stated from the Word of God will absolutely move heaven and earth, and the things under the earth on our behalf.” (C.Capps)

I encourage you today to ask God for His wisdom as you search out His Word before you pray. Whether it’s physical, financial, to do with your relationships, a need for healing, or your future, go to God and His Word and seek to find out His will, promises and what He says about it all.

Don’t rush it, but search to know His will, so you can pray with faith, based accurately on God’s Word, believing you will receive what He has promised.

And remember, even though our prayers may be awkward at times we can pray with confidence because the ultimate power of our prayers is in the one who hears it and not in the one who says it.

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” (Matthew 21:22)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6)

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)

Prayer: Lord, please help me have a greater understanding and wisdom as I spend time in your presence and reading your Word to know what your will is for every situation I face. Thank you that prayer is my ability to ask you to intervene on my behalf supernaturally. In Jesus Name Amen.
