God will allow us to become uncomfortable as a catalyst for change, and unless we get quiet and find the time to listen to God speaking to our hearts, what happens is that we can keep doing the same things day in and day out.
However, in doing so, we can not see that the reasons we are failing to develop as we could, feel frustrated, and are dissatisfied with our lives are the exact parts of our lives that God wants to deal with and change.
Today I encourage you to take a moment to schedule some time to examine your thoughts, attitudes, and heart.
Perhaps your discontentment or feelings of being unsettled are God orchestrated and Him trying to catch your attention so that He can speak and lead you to make some changes in your life? Seek Him with an open heart and mind and see what He has to say. “I love those who love me; And those who diligently seek me will find me.” (Proverbs 18:7) “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:4-6) Prayer: Lord, please help me be in tune with how I am feeling and thinking. Would you show me whether my discontentment is due to you wanting me to deal with an issue or if you have something new for my life. Would you please help me to hear you today. In Jesus name amen
