I believe God loves it when we dream. He wants us to connect to Him and His power that works within us so that He can lead and guide us to make these dreams a reality.
The Bible says, “Now to Him who is able to (carry out His purpose and) do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think (infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes or dreams), according to His power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20 AMP)
The world would like us to think that God wants to squash our dreams and that He is out to spoil our fun, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I’ve discovered that God is already ahead of us when it comes to the dream department and when one dream has been fulfilled, He’s releasing and encouraging us to focus on a new one.
A point to remember when dreaming is that God never gives us a dream that matches our budget. He’s not checking our bank account; he’s checking our faith. Any dream orchestrated and planted in our hearts by God will always take a measure of faith for it to come to pass.
It's why God will encourage you to persevere and to keep believing even when it's hard. He has a plan and has promised He will complete the good work He has begun in you until it is completed and that He will do exceedingly more than you can ask, think, pray, dream or imagine. (Eph 3:20)
One key, however, whilst dreaming and pursuing your dreams, is not to fall into the trap of judging your growth and achievements by the progress you make in one day, week, or even month. It's wiser to have small goals and wins to spur you on.
"For I am confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:6)
People may think you’re crazy, laugh at your dreams, question whether you are hearing from God and talk behind your back. But your destiny is just that – yours. You need to do you.
Today what do you have the audacity to believe you can achieve and see happen in your life?
I encourage you to be bold and to see beyond where you are at today. What does your life look like five years from now? Because thinking about where you’d like to be in the future helps you decide how you will live today?
Give yourself permission and ask for God to help you dream big, beautiful, lasting, impactful, audacious dreams, knowing that as you do you will become what you think and dream about most.

Prayer: Lord thank you for the plans you have for my life. Would you please help me to dream big, audacious dreams and then take steps each day to position myself to achieve them. In Jesus name Amen.
