Jan 3 – Real Change is A Process

Real Change Is A Process, Not A Destination.

We are God’s workmanship, He knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows the beginning from the end and everything in between.

Too often we see with our earthly perspective. God see’s with a heavenly eternal perspective, and knows what is needed to prepare and shape us for our purpose and life now and in the future.

We are created to live a life of growth, and God’s best for us is that we continue to grow and develop so that we live our best life and not just plod through it.

Real change happens at the moment of our salvation. What He has started He promises He will be faithful to complete in us. But it’s a continual process to reveal that transformation in all areas of our lives, causing our lives to have true significance (2 Cor 3:8)

Our world is in such a hurry and that can make us misunderstand the process of change.

It’s much like a fitness regime. You don’t suddenly have fantastic Ab’s overnight. They are “under there” but some change has to happen in our bodies for them to be revealed. If we give up too soon on the process of change the transformation is never revealed in us.

But God is faithful. He is committed to us. Philippians 1:6 says “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.“

Open up your heart for God to guide and direct you today as He transforms and unveils His masterpiece – You

Prayer: Lord I ask that you continue to work in me. I make a committment to growth and transformation in every area of my life as you direct and guide me. I ask you to bring change in the areas of my life that need change as you continue to work in me.   In Jesus Name Amen.
