12 Sept – Become The Change You Want To See

If you don’t like it find a way to change it; and if you can’t change it then change the way you’re looking at it.

It’s how we move forward and grow to become positive influencers in the world around us. However how often do we just leave or allow things to remain in or around our lives because we can’t be bothered making the effort or believe that change is too difficult?

However the great men and women who helped to shape our history clearly demonstrate that each of us has the potential to be an instrument of change; both in our own lives and the world. It’s one right decision, followed by another; one step, one person, one voice that can facilitate and help find a way to bring change and transformation.

On examination of your life what don’t you like and know needs to change? What stirs your heart and mind to action? Because those are the things that you can actively begin to work on, to pray about, to seek God on and make an effort to change.

As you reflect take the time to seek God so He can reveal his best plan for your life and where He wants to bring transformation and breakthrough. Imagine what God’s best looks and feels like, and keep focused on that. For what we think about most is what we will talk about, act upon and eventually become.

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he“. (Proverbs 23:7)

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2)

Each day with God’s guidance, focus on one thing at a time that you can work on, as you determine to be a person who will run after and take hold of the best version of yourself. A person who will stand up for who and what they believe. With God’s help, “Become the change you want to see in the world, and let it begin with you.“

Prayer: Lord please help me to be honest and to see clearly the things that I don’t like and that you desire to be different. I want to be an agent of change so please help me to become the change I want to see in the world and that you would begin by working in me. In Jesus name Amen.
