Today, I had an early listen to our daughter Shara Rose’s latest song, which is being produced at the moment. It sounds amazing, and all the people working on it are very gifted.
As I listened, I started thinking, “What would happen if we all did what we were called and wired to do? If we did what we could do, what a difference would we make?”
What if we spent our energy and brainpower looking for ways to bless and help others? How many people could we give hope and comfort to, and how many hearts could we help heal simply by using our gifts and talents to better the world?
No one is insignificant and no gift too small that it won’t or can’t make a difference.
Through small gestures of kindness, knowing and walking in our purpose and seeking God to be the best we can be; lives will be changed, hope revealed, and darkness dispelled.
Today listen up to God’s promptings as He guides you through your day. Look to use your gifts, time, and abilities to make a difference and determine to simply do what you can because someone out there needs you to.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” (Colossians 3:23)
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)
Prayer: Lord, please help me be and do what I can to make a difference today. It may seem small to me, but in your hands, I know that small things count, and nothing is ever too insignificant or unable to be used for good. Would you please help me to be remember that as I go through each day? In Jesus name Amen.
