I believe we can change the world and that God expects the world to be better because we are in it. For us, to enact change and remove those things which are not right or good.
Many have gone before us who have done precisely that, “they have changed the world”. Martin Luther King, William Wilberforce, Mother Teresa, Charles Finney, Smiths Wigglesworth, Maria Wordsworth Etta, Jonathan Edwards, Dwight Moody, Billy Graham, Gladys Aylward, Jackie Pullinger, Reinhard Bonnke… The list goes on and on.
There are those who have sacrificed, who have prayed, who have believed for better things. Those who found and embraced their purpose and call, being brave and wildly audacious enough to step out and do something!
God speaks. He’s speaking in visions, in dreams, in thoughts and words planted in our hearts and minds and He wants us to pick up on these things, and His plan for each one of us and to act! He wants Heaven and all it’s goodness to impact the earth. That’s what He’s always wanted, for “His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”. (Matthew 6:9)
There is a resounding call in each of us to do extraordinary exploits, and if we dare to listen, God reveals to us what they are. Without even knowing, we often glimpse these things and who we could be, but we need to take the time to push in and receive clarity to follow-through.
Why? Because the world is full of people who have good intentions, but that’s all they are – intentions.
What the world needs is for us to act on those good intentions. To speak up and put our hands, feet, and hearts to the call and task within each of us.
There is a generation of little ones, of young people who need to be released and set free to be all they were created to be.
Some don’t know that they are loved, and desperately need hope for their future.
There are people all around us, everywhere you look, who need restoration and a helping hand. Who need to dream again and look forward to tomorrow!
We can all encourage people around us to try, to think and dream bigger, to believe for better things. We can help and teach people how to get back up when they fall and are discouraged; how not to let go of their purpose in the face of defeat. We need to stand beside each other and cheer one another on!
You have a purpose and in your way can “Change The World,” even if it’s impacting one person at a time.
Begin today by seeking God and his way of doing things. Allow him to lead and guide you to become the best version of yourself and then go and bless someone’s life today.
Pray like this: ‘Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms may the glory of your name be the centre on which our lives turn. Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth just as it is fulfilled in heaven. We acknowledge you as our Provider of all we need each day.? (Matthew 6:9-11 TPT)
“So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.” (Matthew 6;33-34 TPT)
