30 April – Everything’s Alright

Today my car was written off after an accident earlier this week. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and as we were not at fault, our insurance fully covered everything. As I was praying over the loss of my car, I felt God say quietly; everything’s alright.

Taking the attitude that “everything’s alright” can change our perspective completely.

Instead of spending your day just surviving and getting anxious or stressed, you can look at the circumstances of your day and choose to smile, trust God will work in every circumstances and choose to enjoy life because He ultimately in control, will work all things together for our good and promises that everything’s alright.

He promises, “That if He is for us, who can be against us. That neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God” (Romans 8:31, 39)

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

As you think about everything being okay today, instead of focusing on the negatives, disappointments or fears, you will be able to start smiling at your day, and peace will replace your anxious thoughts.

EVERYTHING in our lives when we walk with Jesus will be okay. He is for us, with us, and Heaven is cheering us on.

You are going to be okay. You may hit a few potholes on the road along the way; maybe even get a few bumps and bruises, BUT YOU WILL BE OKAY!

So today, choose to have a positive attitude and hold onto and rest in the truth that EVERYTHING’S ALRIGHT!

Prayer: Lord, thank you that you are with me, and because of that, everything is alright and going to be okay. Please help me to remember that so that I can smile at my day. In Jesus name Amen
